Advanced Public Transportation System Based on DSRC and CDPD

This paper introduces the basic concept,working principles,system characteristics of two wireless communication technologies--Dedicated Short Range Communication System (DSRC) and Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD). Then it presents an Advanced Public Transportation System based on these two technologies and describes the function structure of the system in detail.
