Study on power analysis and related countermeasures

To be more secure,crypto-chips should be protected against simple power analysis attack and differential power analysis attack.Three technologies of differential power analysis are described and the performance of them is compared.To counter power analysis software and hardware level solutions are developed,but none of them achieved a total prevention of such attacks.The combi-nation of software and hardware is higher-efficiency in countermeasures to power analysis.Finally research directions are discussed.
