An Image Inpainting Algorithm Based on Improved Fast Marching Method

Image inpainting is an important research field in digital image processing,which serves a wide range of applications,such as recovering the damaged regions,removing text and hiding some objects.The fast marching method based on the lever set application can inpaint the damaged regions simplify,quickly and effectively,but weak to preserve the edge information.Propose an improved algorithm,which uses the gradient-sorting estimation to preserve the edge,the results of experiments have shown the improved one is better.
