Design of communication system between master and slave station based on PROFIBUS-DP

The significance of development of integrated Ethernet interface PROFIBUS master station was presented,for the present status of fieldbus.The frame of PROFIBUS protocol and the state mechanism of master station were analyzed and investigated.Aiming at the practical advantages of PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus,the communication system between master and slave station was designed with ARM7TDMI and ASPC2.This paper succeeded in completing the design of PROFIBU5DP master station that could expanse Ethernet interface circuit.
