Establishment of enterprise water pipeline network management information system based on ArcView and client/server model

A case study is presented to establish the C/S model-based enterprise water management information system by use of ArcView and SQL Server. Both geographic and attribute data of the water pipeline network can be shared in the enterprise local area network(LAN), and some analyzing functions are realized,such as searching of water supply area and examining and repairing analysis of faults. The test run of the established system demonstrates that the system can work efficiently.
