Pulp Consistency Signal De-Noise Method Based on Wavelet Packet Analysis

A de-noise method based on wavelet packet .analysis for pulp consistency signal on papermaking process was developed in this work. The principle of wavelet packet analysis on de-noise was analyzed. The selection of threshold and threshold function were introduced. The de-noise efficiencies were compared with different threshold and different threshold function for pulp consistency signal. Theoretical analysis and simulation proved the effectiveness of de-noise method based on wavelet packet analysis.
