Research on the Fault Location Method of Rural Power Distribution Network

The rough set theory is used to realize the automatic fault location method of the rural power distribution network.According to the distribution network topology,this method uses each user area fault complain information as condition attribute,uses fault component as decision attribute,forms decision table,and uses the decision table as the main tool,then uses rough set method to perform the attribute reduction and value reduction.The minimum fault reduction form is derived to ensure objectivity of the rules.Because of the good fault tolerance,it is able to achieve rapid and accurate fault location in the incomplete calling situation.The example shows that the method is simple,feasible and effective.
