Image Encryption Scheme Based on Keys Generated by Iris Feature and IDEA Algorithm

The author of this paper introduced the key generation algorithm of the iris feature. This algorithm includes iris localization, normalization, feature extraction and so on. Finally we have obtained the key produced by the iris feature, one the basis of which safe and reliable IDEA algorithm is used to encrypt the secret image, which not only reserves the advantages of conventional encryption algorithm, but brings in biological feature technology, so as to explore the new thinking pattern of encryption. The test result indicated that the encryption result was good and has served the anticipated purpose.
