Database is a kind of information product but with high investment and low marginal cost.And the present legal protection system in China cannot give prominence to its speciality and particularity.So making a specialized law to protect the database,balancing the right between producers and users,and concerning both sides and the public welfare,will push forward the database industry healthy development and its market standardization.
