A New Packet Loss Concealment Method Based on PAOLA

The quality of VoIP is affected by the packet loss, time delay, jitter and other factors. To improve its quality, the packet loss concealment such as WSOLA(Waveform Similarity Overlap-Add) can be used. A new technique based on PAOLA(Peak Alignment Overlap-Add) is proposed to optimize WSOLA, and the quality of the retrieval speech is compared.
