Design of Multi-protocol Adapter for the Universal Monitoring and Control System of Wind Power Plant

One multi-protocol adapter between the CAN fieldbus and other several fieldbuses were designed.The adapter is used to communicate with the PLC control system of different wind power generators,and used to detect and monitor the electrical parameters of the wind power generator.The host computer transforms the site Ethernet datum to Modbus/TCP datum in order to use the config-uration software monitoring and controlling the wind power generator.The general configuration of the universal monitoring and control system was given.The different field-buses' interface design methods of the multi-protocol adapter were detailedly described.
