Simulation Design of Data Compression for Wireless Sensor Networks Based on OMNeT

In the report,Haar wavelet transform was used for simulation experiment,and the emulation framework of data compression for WSNs based on OMNeT + + was achieved. Three parameters( energy consumption,compression ratio,and mean square error) under Haar wavelet data compression algorithm were simulated. The simulation results showed the method is effective and reliable.
