RNAV route planning with regard to earth ellipticity

In order to improve the precision of flight track guidance and provide shorter route,the coordinates of waypoints,initial TC and distance of each leg should be calculated with regard to earth Ellipticity.The formulas of calculating the initial TC and distance of a route and the latitude of waypoints are derived through spatial vector analyses with IAG-75 ellipsoid parameters.The research shows that the distance of the B215 route from FUKANG to DAWANGZHUANG is 2,642 km,the distance of the great circle is 2,423.8 km,but the precise distance of the great ellipse is 2,435.3 km.
