Message Transmission Mechanism with Willingness Degree of Node in Opportunistic Network

LI Meng-sh · Modern Computer · 2013

It is a key issue in opportunistic networks that how to make the best use of resources as a mobile agents for effective delivery of information and networking services. Takes it as a background, and regards of the problem of the existing transfer limit and the adaptation of traditional algorithms to real-world network, proposes a message transmission mechanism based on willingness degree of node in opportunistic network,WDMT, which combined with nodal social attributes. In order to select mobile agents reasonably, WDMT gives full consideration to the society-related factors, including similarity, node activeness, community temperature, friends' influence and so on. The experimental results of real-world datasets show that compared with the traditional algorithms, WDMT can improve the success rate of data delivery, as well as reduce the network cost and end-to-end transmission delay.
