Method of Delay Estimation Based on Matched Filter and Cross-correlation

When GCC is implemented on 8-bit microcontroller,the frequency domain alogrithm is difficult to realize because of RAM capacity constraints. By researching the time delay estimation algorithm based on cross- correlation,a new delay estimation algorithm based on cross-correlation with matched filter is proposed and it could be applied in audio signal delay estimation based on 8-bit microcontroller. The proposed method has not only a small amount of computation but also better stability in low SNR.
