Design and implementation of direct digital synthesizers based on FPGA

A direct digital synthesizer( DDS) plays a vital role in modern electronic systems,including communication system,radar system,instrument and electronic equipment system,spatial electronic equipment,TV,etc.DDS greatly affects the performance of electronic systems. In this paper,a MATLAB and FPGA interacted method is proposed. It simulated the circuit with MATLAB before design and implementation of FPGA,for the purpose of validating if the working process and output result of the whole FPGA circuit meet the requirement. At last,the design was implemented on hardware,and the performance was tested,proving the design is correct and feasible.
