Study on Calibration System for Electronic Instrument Transformers

This paper introduces a calibrating system which is based on LabView platform. It can realize the calibration for electronic voltage transformer and current transformer through reading the data of the merging unit,coordinating with the high degree of accuracy standard meter and combining with synchronous cards and digital signal processing. The system reaches measurement accuracy up to 5/10000 for 10kV ～ 500kV electronic voltage transformer and the electronic current transformer rated current 5～ 5000A.In the paper,the system structure and the main testing principle are given. It also provides the experimental and field test results. The results show that the system can meet the need of calibration for ratio errors and angular differences of electronic voltage transformer and current transformer.
