An Energy-efficient Relay Group-based Routing Scheme in Ad Hoc Networks

This paper proposes an energy conservation routing scheme. At first, the energy consumption rate of a specific route depends on thenumber of hops as well as the length of each hop. On the other hand, the nodes in the networks are classed into group, and only one node is active ina group, thus the energy consumption in the network maintenance is reduced. A route with lower energy consumption pattern based on relay group isestablished, thus the stability of the route is advanced, and the energy consumption of information transmitting along the route is minimized.
