Determining the weight of the member search engines in meta-search

When the results of the meta-search engine are merged, calculating the score of the documents is an important step. As a result of the difference in the accuracy,users' preference and performance between different search engines,the final rank will be significantly affected. This paper introduces a way to assess the weight of the member search engines. First the consistency of the judgment matrix is regulated based on maximum deviation. Then compatibility indicator is used to assess the distance of expert judgments and the final weight vector is calculated by matrix filtering algorithm.
