Study of OWL Ontology Reasoning Methods

Aiming at the compatibility issue between RDFS and OWL languages,we study two methods of expanding RDFS reasoning machine to support OWL semantics from the view of ontology reasoning machine.On the basis of Sesame system,the upgrade project achieves the function of supporting both RDFS and OWL languages through the method of rules extension.The experiment test shows that the expanded ontology reasoning machine can support RDFS language completely,its reasoning ability also exceeds simple OWL language reasoning machine greatly.
