Study on TCP Performance Improvement in WMNs

The wireless mesh network(WMN) is emerging as a promising technology in providing economical and scalable broadband Internet accesses to communities.In order to promote the performance of the wireless mesh networks and make TCP work more efficient in the environment with low reliability,longer burst errors and larger handover delay,a lot of schemes have been designed.Based on the characteristic of the mesh networks,analyzes the performance of those schemes designed for the TCP and makes a comparison.Finally,propose a future research suggestion.
