Influence of Inoculation Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi on the Growth of Soybean in Iron Tailings

Fuping Li · Environmental Science & Technology · 2009

A pot culture experiment was carried out to study the influence of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)including Glomus tunicatum and Glomus aggregatum on the growth of soybean(dicotyledon),infection rate and change of nutrient in tailings. Results showed that inoculation AMF not only can promote plant to absorb more nutrients and increase plant biomass, but also can improve quality of iron-tailing.Dependences between AMF and plants and the infectivity showed good ecological effects.
