Research on Node Spatial Probabilistic Distribution of MRP Mobility Model for Ad Hoc Network

Tianlong Gu · Jisuanji fangzhen · 2011

The MRP mobility model is characterized by its capability of memory.Compared with other mobility models,MRP has advantages in not only stability but also reality of mobility nodes. The spatial probabilistic distribution of MRP model was studied.Firstly, the spatial probabilistic distribution was analyzed in situations of both 1-dimension and 2-dimensions.Secondly,impacts of the parameter q as well as transfer steps of the spatial probabilistic distribution were studied. Finally, according to simulation, each theoretical result on MRP model obtained was validated.According to this study,it is also demonstrated that,in the case that the moving steps is fixed, the node tends to roam closer to the initial position as the value of q is increased;and in the case that the value of q is fixed, the distribution of nodes is more uniform as the moving step is increased.
