Research of AODV routing protocol based on link availability prediction

The AODV routing protocol could not adapt to high dynamic topology change well. According to extend the AODV routing algorithm by the link availability prediction, the nodes selected the most stable path to route based on the power of received packets and the link continuous availability time, and started the route maintenance in advance before the link broken. The simulation results demonstrate that the improved AODV routing protocol increased the packet deliv- ery ratio and decreases the average end-to-end delay, and the reliability of the routing protocol is strengthened.
