Spread application of fieldbus system overall realize digitization of fossil-fired power plant

The automation of fossil-fired power plants has experienced or will experience four milestones ainund 2000: distributed control system, networking, digitalization and informatization. This paper indicates that the current urgent task is to speed up the spreading and application of fieldbus, bravely greet the digitalization of fossil-fired power plant; puts forward to actively and soundly spread and apply fieldbus system strategy; proposes the relevant leading bodies to work out the corresponding new technical policy as soon as possible.
