Design of Color Digital Image Encryption Based on Chaotic Sequence

The paper presents a method of chaotic encryption for color digital image based on its structure, the principles of its gray scale replacement and disorder encryption, and the accidental nature and extreme sensitivity of the discrete chaotic sequence to the initial data. Encryption image with wonderful encryption effects can be achieved using the proposed encryption method. It is also verified that the encryption method can satisfy the safety requirements for image storing and transmission through some index analysis to the encryption performance.
