Research about Some Problems of Heat Stability Test of SPD

Thermal stability test is the important test for the safety performance of therm al stability of surge protective device(SPD).Combining with the GB 18802.1—200 2 and IEC 61643-1:2005 standard,several common problems about the thermal sta bility test of SPD were analyzed.The thermal stability of the current test whic h should be monitoring was discussed emphasisly.The technical suggestion was pu t forward that the effective value of resistane sex current(or peak value) shuol d be instead of the effective value of test current(or peak value) in standard t erms definition.
