Review of Fault Diagnosis Method for Power Transformer Based on Rough Set Theory

The basic concept of rough set theory,the algorithm of reduction and the reduction process are presented.Furthermore,the main research findings of transformer fault diagnosis methods based on single rough set theory or its combination with other intelligent means in recent years are analyzed and evaluated.It is indicated that attribute reduction based on rough set theory can ensure the choice of fewest characteristic sets with consistent diagnostic results of transformer faults;therefore it is a good way for transformer fault diagnosis.
