Crowd Analysis in Public Security Video Surveillance

According to the demands on city public security video surveillance for large scale crowd,the architecture of Shanghai public security video surveillance system and its main problems are analyzed at first. Then the advanced research development in crowd analysis and applications is analyzed.Furthermore,the main characteristics and applicability in crowd models,states description and behaviors methods are discussed respectively. Finally,the application condition and prospects of the crowd analysis are summarized.
