Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network is a type of technology which is produced by combining of mGRE, NHRP, IPSec. Its main characteristic is that it can build dynamic IPSec tunnel between spokes by mGRE for data transmission.This paper describes the operational principles of Dynamic Multipoint VPN, including its typical toplogy,mGRE/IPSec tuunel,NHRP protocol.It also discusses the integration processes of NHRP and dynamic routing protocol to build dynamic tunnel. It also briefly tells of the application advantages of Dynamic Multipoint VPN.
