A fast convergent signed regressor constant modulus algorithm for blind equalization
Zhang Yan · Applied Acoustics · 2005
For increasing the speed of convergence of the signed regressor constant modulus algorithm (SRCMA), a fast SRCMA algorithm suitable for real BPSK signals is presented. The error function of SRCMA is replaced by a new one, which applies only to BPSK signals. Using fractionally-spaced equalization, the new algorithm efficiently promotes the convergence rate of SRCMA. Computer simulation proves that the new algorithm has advantage of robustness and fast convergence. The algorithm may be employed in blind equalization of rapidly changing channels and recovery of the underwater data transmission.
