It is described how to communicate with instrumentation over a computer network and the fundamental composition of the network test system and the usage of the interface part-Network Instrument server are introduced, as well as the stack used by the network instrument protocol which follows the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) reference model and its RPCS.
