Heterogeneous Database Management Middleware Based on CORBA

AbstrcatThe shortcomings of the middleware and its applictionin in heterogeneous database access are proposed.In this paper CORBA application database access is discussed,and CORBA based middleware for database management is proposed.This middleware provides the same interface for the different data sources.At the same time,data security proxy and load balance are provided.And makes transparent accessing heterogeneous database become possible.
