The Pre-Processing of Multiwavelet and Its Application in Image Compression

Some important performances of multiwavelets are summarized,and pre processing of several multiwavelets are proposed.An image compression example is given,with satisfactory effects.The results show that the multiwavelet transform of Opt recl has non boundary distortion,and can obtains high peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR).
