An Encoder Based on CPLD

In digital communication,the transmission signal code-stringent is strictly limited by baseband channel.Manchester Code,Miller Code and Coded Mark Inversion Code are dual-code suitable for baseband transmission,and are widely used in communication project.Dedicated encoders designed on traditional separate elements are only suitable for a specific code.The transmission rate and effective data of each frame are limited.Users can not change anything.In this paper,by an EDA design,we realize an encoder which integrates three baseband transmission codes,i.e.Manchester Code,Miller Code and Coded Mark Inversion Code,in a CPLD chip.The shortcomings of an dedicated encoder has been overcome.
