Virtual Dial-Up and User Access Management

This paper introduces the basic concept of virtual dial-up, and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of using such a technology to realize user access management for broad-band networks. It also demonstrates two models of implementation, one for campus networks and the other for community networks. At last, the detail of a blue-print for campus network access management is presented.
