Research on TD-SCDMA Multicarrier System Performance

With the new technology of smart antenna and joint detection, TD-SCDMA is a channel limited system in common scenarious. And the frequency efficiency of TD-SCDMA is very high. But, the frequency bandwidth is only 1.6MHz for time divided duplex, only 1/6 of WCDMA system. So, the capacity of single carrier TD-SCDMA system is low in despite of it’s high frequency efficiency. Multicarrier TD-SCDMA solutions enhance the capacity of single cite greatly. This thesis ananysis the benefits of multicarrier solutions from 3 aspects. And some system simulation results are given at the last.
