Application on Frequency Equalization of Speech in the Tinnitus Treating Instrument

Based on the equal-loudness curve, a speech frequency equalizer is designed combing with the principle of electronic-to-sound transform. The equalizer is composed of multi-step digital potentiometers, and can control the amplitude of the output signal adaptively. Therefore the loudness of the output voice is controlled accurately at different frequency. The clinical test indicates the frequency equalizer embedded in the tinnitus treating instrument extends the applying ranges and improves the treatment effectively.
