Clinical applications of medical image segmentation techniques in vascular images

Image segmentation is an important technique and the foundation for further image analysis and processing.Vasculature imaging plays significant role in clinical medicine.Clinicians could choose proper methods based on the image features and requirements of segmentation to enhance image quality and make correct diagnosis if they understand basic medical image segmentation techniques.In this paper,the clinical applications of medical image segmentation techniques in vasculature imaging were reviewed.
