A Design of the Broad-Band Multi-service Network and the Wireless Phone System Based on VoIP

Abstrcat Based on the technical integration of 802.11a/b/g and 802.3u, a broad-band network platform is constructed. On the ARM embedded system hardware platform, SIP and its related protocols and ucLINUX EOS are developed for the implementation of the network. On the technical basis, the application model, the network architecture and the design scheme of the network are brought forward. The technical scheme of VoIP wireless telephone system based on 802.11a/b/g standard is given. Then, the software and hardware schemes of VoIP wireless telephone and VoIP gateway based on soft-switching are especially designed. The network can provide either wire or wireless access for user terminals, and provide both data and voice service. The net can be built quickly and applied flexibly.
