Application of PI system to real-time supervising of power plants

The paper discusses the real-time database/historian PI system, especially the main technology peculiarity and function modules, and introduces the application of PI in the real-time supervising system, SIS of power plants, then points out that the SIS development based on the PI system will have broad and bright prospect in the integrating of industrial management and control.
