Construction of a Network Parallel Computing System Based on MPI

Along with the popularization of the application of network,network parallel computing has become the main trend of parallel computing.The network parallel computing system constructed by using PC has a higher cost performance.This paper described in detail the construction and configuration of a small network parallel computing system by using 16 PCs under the present laboratory conditions.In order to evaluate the performance of the system,an example of solving the matrix multiplication implemented using parallel algorithm was given.The results show that this system is successful on account of obtaining highly efficient calculation performance with low cost.
