Experimental study of repair methods on damaged Oracle's log files

Oracle's log files all the record operations on the database. The log files are composed of Oracle s Redo log files and Oracle's archive log files. Redo log files can be used to examples restoration. Archive log files have to be used when data files damaged or lost. The experiments for simulating the situation of database damaged were carried out when archive log files or noarchive log files were corrupted and recovery methods under different circumstances were discussed.
