Research on Iris Identification Technique

Iris recognition is a noninvasive technique for human identification.An iris recognition system is presented in this paper.It is composed of iris image acquisition,iris image preprocessing,feature extraction and matching.This paper also proposes an algorithm for automated iris recognition and a method for rectification of iris image.The matching result is measured by disparity of the range based on 2D-FFT.The experimental results show that the method has a high speed.The recognition results are satisfactory.
