On the Regularity in Semantic Change in Complex Sentences

There are three kinds of complex sentences:“coordination” complex sentences,“reason-result” complex sentences and “contrast” complex sentences.Mainly based on the synchronic study,this paper points out that there is regularity in semantic change in complex sentences,namely “coordinationreason-resultcontrast”.Furthermore,we attempt to give some analysis of the restrictions on such change.
