Application of design patterns in the GIS development

By discussing several design patterns such as Factory method,composite,command,the author proposes a design plan used in GIS development,and discusses the rarely used VISITOR pattern in detail.By the experimental result,the author finds that VISITOR pattern is an effective pattern for managing GIS system spatial algorithm.GIS becomes more reusable,flexible,extensible and transplantable by using these design patterns.
