Application Research of VTL in the Disaster Recovery Systems

As IT system becomes a key component of business process,high availability and security of the information system become an urgent need.Disaster recovery system has significance to national defense,administrations,enterprise.in This paper.introduce the development and scheme of virtual magnetic tape library backup technology.The article expatiated on the development of VTL(visual tape library),analyzed the function of VTL in the system of disaster recovery with the applied example,and advanced the primary developmental direction of VTL.
