RESEARCH PROGRESS OF PIOGLITAZONE AND CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES

At present,cardiovascular diseases have already become the principle diseases to harm health of human beings,including highpertension,left ventricular hypertrophy,coronary heart disease,and so on.How to cure this kind of disease and get good effect has already been became a focal point.Recently studies showed: pioglitazone,which is a new drug to cure diabetes,has potential protective effect to cure cardiovascular diseases.This paper will intensively discuss the relationship between cardiovascular diseases and pioglitazone.
