Research of secure reputation mechanism in mobil Ad Hoc networ

Mobile Ad Hoc Network(MANET) is a multi-hop and autonomy wireless network. It is a collection of wireless mobile hosts forming a temporary network without the aid of any centralized administration or wired infrastructure and is used in environment where a temporary network is needed such as military exercises and disaster relief. Despite security targets of wired network,MANET has its special security requirement. Additional vulnerabilities and features pertinent to this networking paradigm might render traditional solutions inapplicable. Methods of prevention and detection are used in MANET widely and reputation mechanism is one of the most popular method of detection. The application of reputation mechanism in MANET was analyzed and a new secure reputation mechanism based on current research was proposed.
