Reed_Solomon(RS) code is a kind of important error correcting code,and it has very strong capability of correcting random and burst errors which,is widely used in various modern communication systems.Basing on the analysis of the multiplication in Galois,this paper designed a RS(10,8) encoder which can correct one error and offers the process of FPGA implementation.
